Planters and pot fillers
How do I use a planter with an artificial plant?
Place your artificial plant, still in its nursery pot, inside the planter. Then cover the top with a pot filler such as moss, pebbles or bark, so the nursery pot is hidden.
How much pot filler do I need?
As a guide, 100 g of moss or 1 kg of pebbles covers a planter up to about 25 cm wide, and 250 g of moss or 2 kg of pebbles covers up to about 40 cm. Pine bark: 1 L for up to about 30 cm, 3 L for up to about 50 cm.
Can I use pot fillers with real plants?
Our pot fillers are made for artificial plants. Preserved moss must stay dry, so it is not suitable for plants that need watering. Pebbles and bark can also be used on real plants.
How do I keep them clean?
Wipe planters with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Rinse pebbles with water and let them dry. Moss and bark only need a gentle shake or a puff of air from a hairdryer on the cold setting.
